MAKING THE PARTS WE WANTED ON OUR OWN SHELF
As a software engineer and longtime 1/12 figure collector, gndme started TUCTAC Studio out of a simple frustration: finding aftermarket parts that actually fit without loose joints, brittle hair tips, or stiff fabric.
Every piece starts at our workbench in Saigon. We model parts to match standard 1/12 proportions, cast them in hobby resin with pressure degassing to eliminate air bubbles, and sew wired fabric pieces with flexible wire hems so collectors can hold dynamic poses without drooping.
FACTS OVER MARKETING HYPE
We don't believe in hype words or vague promises. If a head sculpt fits snug on a 3.1mm neck peg, we tell you up front and give you clear warming instructions (50–60°C warm water) so you don't snap a peg.
We list the exact parts included, real weights, and tested figure bodies so you know exactly what you are getting before ordering. We treat our customers the same way we want to be treated when buying custom parts for our own collection.
HOW WE MAKE EACH PIECE
From initial digital sculpt to final fit check, here is how we produce our custom pieces.
3D DIGITAL SCULPTING
We sculpt each head and accessory in 3D, keeping 1/12 scale proportions and neck joint clearance in mind so the head can tilt and turn naturally.
RESIN CASTING
We cast in small batches using quality hobby resin. Each pour is cured under pressure to clear out micro-bubbles, keeping thin hair spikes crisp and ready for paint.
WIRED SOFT GOODS
We pattern, cut, and sew every garment in our workshop. Flexible micro-wires sewn into the hems let you shape natural folds and hold wind-swept or battle poses easily.
WORKBENCH FIT CHECK
Before packing, we test-fit sockets against standard reference pegs (~3.0mm–3.2mm neck, ~2.0mm–2.5mm wrist). We include fitment notes so you can install parts safely without forcing joints.
